Wir haben schon K\u00fcchen in alten, kroatischen Steinh\u00e4usern gesehen, in denen als Herd und Ofen ausschlie\u00dflich eine offene Feuerstelle und eine h\u00f6henverstellbare Kette von der K\u00fcchendecke hingen, an der eine metallene Glocke, die &#8222;cripnja&#8220;, befestigt war. Die dalmatinische Peka bezeichnet eine gro\u00dfe, eiserne oder emaillierte Pfanne, die reichlich mit Fleisch oder Fisch und Meerestieren, sowie Gem\u00fcse gef\u00fcllt ist.
