The island of Lastovo, with it`s History<\/a><\/strong>, same as Vis once a military restricted area due to its strategic location at the time, a bit forgotten on the tourist map, which is what makes the charm and charm of natural beauty so special for connoisseurs. You can reach the island on the route by ferry Split – Vela Luka (Kor\u010dula) – Ubli (Lastovo)<\/a><\/strong> in almost 6 1\/2 hours - by catamaran Split – Hvar – Vela Luka – Lastovo<\/a><\/strong> in just under 3 1\/2 hours. The high season is short and in the off-season it can happen that you are the only tourist on the ferry there on the last stage from Vela Luka on Kor\u010dula to Ubli on Lastovo. A paradise for hikers and peace seekers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The city Lastovo<\/a><\/strong> lies somewhat hidden behind a coastal mountain on the north side. The small settlement lies below Lastovo on the coast Lu\u010dica<\/a><\/strong>, a small cluster of houses right on the Adriatic Sea in a small bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then there are small dreamy coastal towns with beautiful bays like Zaklopatica<\/a><\/strong> on the north side or Skrivena Luka<\/a><\/strong> with it`s Lighthouse Struga<\/a><\/strong> on the steep coast on the open south side of the island with a view towards Italy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Lastovo you get the fever adventure of wanting to go on the enchanted paths and on tour like From Lastovo to Skrivena Luka<\/a><\/strong> or From Lastovo to the bay of Zace<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the picture below the view to the east along the north coast of the island with the small town Zaklopatica and its dreamy bay. This can also be reached on foot from Lastovo on ancient paths along the coast in the forest - also a nice little tour. Behind the mountain in the upper right half of the picture, the town of Lastovo is hidden behind the coast, which cannot be seen from here.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lastovo has been under nature protection since 2006. The archipelago consists of the 2 larger islands Lastovo and Su\u0161ac and a further 42 tiny islands or rocks and is namedNaturpark Lastovo<\/a><\/strong>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
